H3094 (Open Carry with Training Act) received a favorable report from the sub-committee, which means it will proceed to the full House Judiciary Committee. We will update you when we have more information about when it will be discussed by the House Judiciary Committee. Unfortunately, we do not normally get more than a few days notice of when a bill will be on a committee's agenda.
Sat in on an NRA-ILA on-line briefing last night. They seem poised to take OCwT under their wing legislatively. Leveraging their 95% success rate in 2020 with some significant displacements of key barriers. And, my take, they view it is as the *requisite first step* to Constitutional Carry. Optimistic that it can advance through the Senate. They named names who they expect might sponsor OCwT in Senate.
